Tim Cesarek President Koch Genesis

Koch Genesis Company, LLC is focused on originating external innovation opportunities that can create superior value for Koch and potentially advance the vision of Koch businesses. Value will be captured through joint development, joint marketing, licensing, investment in or acquisition of these external innovations. Genesis looks for external incremental, step-out and disruptive innovations across business areas such as refining and chemicals, fibers and polymers, forest and consumer products, chemical processes and specialty materials in which Koch companies have existing capabilities that bring value.

Prior to joining Koch Genesis Company, Tim Cesarek was the managing director of corporate finance for Koch Industries, Inc. In that role, he was responsible for leading a team that focused on transaction support such as buy-side analysis, due diligence and negotiation, as well as post transaction integration. Additionally, his team managed divestitures contemplated by Koch Industries and its portfolio companies. Cesarek has 20 years of corporate finance and transaction experience, and as a principal has directly invested and managed more than $500 million in private debt and equity investments in various industries. He serves on the boards of Power Medical Interventions, Inc., HyRadix and NanoProducts Corp.

Cesarek received a bachelor's degree in Biomedical Engineering from the Milwaukee School of Engineering and a master's degree in Business from Pepperdine University.
