Bob Collister CEO Memory Showcase |
Mr. Collister has worked full time on the startup of Memory Showcase since its inception. He has a degree in architecture from University of Kansas with a minor in systems methodology and worked for several years for Black & Veatch, a consulting engineering firm in Kansas City. He also provided design and consultative sales services in the warehouse and distribution industry for several large, national distribution companies and was Sales Manager for an outside sales force of 12 Territorial Account Managers.
Bob gained valuable financial and investment analysis experience as manager of the Investment Department for Coldwell Banker Commercial Real Estate Services and obtained the Certified Commercial Investment Member designation during this time.
Just before starting Memory Showcase, Bob obtained over 60 credit hours of post-graduate programming and web development courses while living in California. Memory Showcase has been a technology startup client of the Enterprise Center of Johnson County since it was founded and Bob has participated in numerous business development programs offered by the ECJC, KTEC and the Kauffman Foundation.
Bob possesses a unique combination of an architect’s creative vision, an engineer’s attention to detail and skill to implement, a businessperson’s understanding of the financial bottom line, a salesperson’s ability to communicate and collaborate, and a midwestern farmboy’s work ethic.
As CEO, Mr. Collister will continue to coordinate the efforts of the key management personnel. Another major focus will be to grow the value of the company by directing Memory Showcase into new products as well as additional marketing channels in order to facilitate the Exit Strategy discussed herein. This is his second startup venture; his first startup developed a software application to help plan and execute high school reunions.
