As founder and CEO of Sweet Spot Marketing, LLC, in Merriam, David Barnes created Sweet Spot Marketing to be a leading outsourcing agent in Paid Search and Search Engine Optimization for small and mid-sized Traditional Advertising Agencies and Web Development Companies.

Sweet Spot Marketing helps traditional and interactive agencies with the growing demand of Search Engine Marketing by offering turn key Paid Search and SEO management services. David founded the company in 2007 after establishing his office in the Enterprise Center of Johnson County.

Prior to starting Sweet Spot Marketing, David spent nine years with Freightquote.com, a leading online freight shipping Web site that provides small and mid-sized manufacturing companies an automated LTL and TL shipping solution. He was a leader in several departments including Project and Product Management, Sales, Service, Training and Marketing.

David experienced Freightquote grow from a start up with seven employees to over 700 and annualized revenues exceeding $400M in the US and UK markets.
