Pipeline: PIPELINE Innovators

Chris Routh is co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of BRKZ Corp., a Kansas City based web and software development services company specializing in next generation software technology and web 2.0 applications. Chris is responsible for the vision and overall business strategy for BRKZ’s in-house products and services.

BRKZ was founded in January of 2007, with the purpose of creating game changing internet properties and technology. Since its inception, BRKZ has created multiple in- house products including Hurox.com, a groundbreaking online social marketplace allowing talented individuals to market and sell their digitally created online content to the masses. While still in a private beta, Hurox.com has been featured in several online publications and has been voted a top 100 social site on KillerStartups.com.

Prior to BRKZ, Chris was an economic analyst for a prestigious Kansas City based engineering firm where he was instrumental in the financial modeling, rate structuring and feasibility studies of the business and technology services division.

With a keen interest in business and the venture capital industry, Chris received a bachelor’s degree in Finance as well as a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Kansas.
