Bill Rosenberg is Chief Medical Officer and Co-founder of OsteoGeneX, a biotech start-up company located at the Greater Kansas City Biotechnology Development Center. OsteoGeneX is developing small molecule inhibitors that build new bone for treating osteoporosis, spinal fusion, fracture repair and device coatings. Dr. Rosenberg is a practicing neurosurgeon and partner with Midwest Neurosurgery Associates. He specializes in complex spinal surgery and has been the Co-Director of the Neurospinal Disorders Program at University of California, San Francisco. After years of consulting and other involvement with companies ranging from large corporations to startups and other small ventures, Dr. Rosenberg has extensive knowledge of and experience with the medical implant industry.
