Brian Pettey is founder and Chief Executive Officer of Robotzone, LLC, located in Winfield. Robotzone designs and develops robots and robotic components for commercial, industrial and military applications. Customers include several Fortune 500 companies as well as various government agencies. Commercial products are sold through Robotzone’s retail website ServoCity.com.

Prior to Robotzone, Brian founded Brian Thomas Robotics (BTR) in his dorm room. The primary focus of BTR was designing and manufacturing robots and robotic components for educational purposes.

Brian holds multiple patents and has developed robots and components for use in a variety of interesting purposes. Brian has assisted companies with NASA space shuttle missions, had robots displayed at the Kennedy Space Center and constructed robots to help kids learn at Space Camp at the Kansas Cosmosphere. He has also assisted in the development of robots used to protect solders in Iraq and Afghanistan. Currently, Robotzone is developing robotic pan, tilt and roll systems for the film industry. This new line of products has been used to produce various shows for National Geographic, BBC and the Discovery Channel.

Brian has a BA in Business Administration from Southwestern College in Winfield.
