Andrew Hoelscher is President of Hoelscher Agriculture Development (HAD), Bushton, Kansas. HAD is a start-up company, involved in the development of marketing, production and technological advantages that can make production agriculture more profitable and efficient. HAD’s background in production agriculture and commodity markets generates unique market opportunities and relationships that allows the company to develop fresh opportunities in a mature and sometimes exploited market.

Andrew farms with his father and grandfather in his hometown of Bushton –  a town of 300 located 60 miles southwest of Salina. He ran successfully for mayor of Bushton and is helping the community direct its attention to making progressive changes to ensure a prosperous future.

Andrew received his BS from Kansas State University in Agricultural Economics with an emphasis in Farm Management and Agronomy.
